2022's Budget Approved Without Disclosing Any Figures
The Councils of Sovereignty and the Ministers, in a joint meeting, approved the budget for the year 2022. The Minister of Finance said in a statement that the budget witnessed estimated increases in the wages of state workers, but he did not disclose their value nor any figures within the new budget.
The head of the Sovereignty Council, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, had appointed a caretaker government of deputy ministers to pave the way for the elections.
