The security authorities confronted demonstrators with excessive repression during demonstrations that took place in the three cities of the capital, Khartoum, which led to the killing of two people and the injury of (137) people.
The Council of Musical and Acting Professions is a branch of the Council in the state of Al-Gezira, and the formation of the Council came in accordance with order No. (70) of the year 2021 issued by the Federal Musical Professions Council, which stipulates the supervision of the Ministry of Culture and Information on this Council.
The Central Committee of Sudan Doctors issued a report on the total number of dead and injured from October 30, 2021 until January 17, 2022 The report revealed that three people were killed and 616 sustained various injuries. The report pointed out that the authorities used various types of tear gas canisters, sound bombs and live bullets, which were aimed directly at the demonstrators.
A report by the Central Committee of Sudan Doctors revealed that 70 people were injured as a result of the security authorities using tear gas, rubber bullets and sound bombs to disperse demonstrators who went out yesterday in protest processions in Khartoum and some states.
Bank of Khartoum has dismissed 10 of its employees who belong to the Wage Improvement Initiative.
