The state of Khartoum prohibited the establishment of any new entities for civil administration in the state by a decision of the designated governor. The decision came in accordance with Article 9 (1/a) of the Law on the Organization of Decentralized Governance for the year 2022 and pursuant to Resolution (112) issued by the Transitional Sovereignty Council in March 2022.

Four trade unionists are facing charges related to defamation and incitement, this comes in the wake of the implementation of a union strike in North Kordofan state for workers that lasted for (57) days because they did not receive their financial dues, and it was lifted after solutions were found.

A statement by emergency lawyers states that the security authorities arrested 35 people, including 4 minors and two girls, during a protest demonstration in Khartoum. Police used tear gas and physical violence to disperse the demonstrators. Tear gas was fired at the Lawyers' House in Khartoum.

The security authorities confronted the (peaceful coexistence) processions called for by the resistance committees in Khartoum, with excessive violence and arrests.

The police arrested the lawyer, Saleh Bushra, and accused him of killing one of the demonstrators.
