Human rights group reveals information about violations against protesters

Since the army coup last October, lawyers have reported multiple violations against demonstrators in Khartoum, including rape, enforced disappearance, and arrests, in addition to physical attacks. During a press conference held at the Doctors House, the group (United Against Violations) stated that the number of rape cases had reached 30. Four cases were reported, while the remaining cases were not opened for fear of social stigma. Enforced disappearances amounted to 33 cases, with a total of 5 thousand detainees. Noting that violations occur prior to, during, and after demonstrations, the group announced the creation of a platform to broadcast information about the violations.
