Authorities confront demonstrators with excessive violence and close a number of bridges in Khartoum
The security authorities confronted the demonstrators, calling for the overthrow of the coup and the return of civil rule, with excessive violence, using tear gas, stun grenades and water cannons, which resulted in 112 injuries in Khartoum.
The authorities preempted the demonstrations by closing 4 main bridges that connect the three cities of the capital.
The demonstrations that took place in a number of Sudanese cities coincided with the fourth anniversary of the December Revolution.
