ICNL, ECNL together with their Global network of partners are collaborating on the COVID-19 Civic Freedom Tracker. The tracker monitors government responses to the pandemic that affect civic freedoms and human rights, focusing on emergency laws. The Africa Team at ICNL also has a separate pagethat pulls out some of the trends in the region. ICNL and ECNL have also created created a briefer on how governments can uphold human rights during emergencies.
