Human Rights Watch Condemn the use of violence in Zanlinge and Niala
Human Rights Watch (HRW) have condemned the violence that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) used against the protestors in Zalinge, central Darfur, and Niala, South of Darfur. HRW have observed that on the 9th of May 2019 the RSF have used live ammunition and tear gas against protestors, which lead to numerous injuries and death cases. This shows that there is still continuous violence against the people in the Darfur region, and HRW has called that the international community has to put a spotlight on incidence such as these.
