The Rapid Support Forces used excessive force to break up a peaceful demonstration in Zalingei, resulting in the injury of 7 citizens. Citizens ran a peaceful protest against the murder of a fellow citizen by armed militias in one of the camps for the displaced. The protesters sought to hand over a protest note to the state headquarters, but the governor refused to receive the memo and called for the help of the Rapid Support Forces who forcefully broke up the gathering of the citizens.

فضت قوات من الدعم السريع مظاهرة سلمية بزالنجي بالقوة المفرطة، ما أدى الى اصابة (7) مواطنين. وجاءت المظاهرات احتجاجاً على مقتل مواطن على يد مليشيات مسلحة، بأحد معسكرات النازحين، حيث قام المواطنين بتسيير موكب سلمي الى مقر الولاية لتسليم مذكرة احتجاجية، غير ان الوالي رفض استلام المذكرة وقام بالاستعانة بقوات من الدعم السريع التي فضت تجمع المواطنين بالقوة.
