Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor issued a press release on its website in which it flagged amendments made earlier in the year to the Combatting Cybercrimes Law for an increasing number of journalists/bloggers being "persecuted and threatened over publications they posted on social media criticizing the authorities".
