Increasing trend of journalists coming under attacked by authorities

Members of the Military Intelligence prevented the journalist Muhammad Mustafa, from covering a tribunal event for the late poet Mohamed Taha Al Gaddal taking place in Khartoum, and placed him under arrest.

Mustafa pointed out that despite revealing his Press credentials , the military intelligence personnel refused to admit him to cover the event and directed a traffic policeman to file charges against under the pretense that he obstructed them from carrying out their duties.
