Journalists boycott army news because a journalist was beaten by members of military intelligence
Human rights press entities announced that they were boycotting any news and activities of the armed forces for a period of (3) days, and organized a protest sit-in at the Press and Publications Council
The entities demanded that the Ministry of Defense conduct an immediate and urgent investigation into the beating of a journalist by members of the armed forces. Journalist Ali Al-Dali was trying to break up a quarrel that broke out as a result of a traffic accident in which the intelligence vehicle was involved, when he was beaten by the officer driving the vehicle and had to be hospitalized.
