Al-Dai had posted a few days prior to his arrest videos on Facebook in which he had made serious accusations towards the Rapid Support Forces and its commander Mohamed Hamdan Hemedti. His family stated that his arrest was carried out in a manner they described as humiliating, stressing that it was comparable to the methods of arrest used by the forces of the previous regime.
