Journalists and film crew detained for covering the White Nile's recession
A temporary committee established for restoring the Sudanese Journalists Union issued a statement condemning the detention of the journalist Ali Al-Dayir and his camera crew during their coverage of the recession of the White Nile in Khartoum.
According to a report from Baj News Network, the journalist and his crew had their phones and identity cards taken from them and were detained by forces from the Rapid Support Forces for 5 hours before being released.
