The Popular Congress Party wrote a statement against a police force brigade, which attacked a party leader yesterday.

According to the account of the Popular Congress Party, the party’s secretary, Salim al-Fadil, tried to enter the court to attend the trial session of the killers of Mr. Ahmed al-Khair, but a police brigade stopped him and severely beat him, bruising him and breaking his leg.

دون حزب المؤتمر الشعبي، بلاغاً ضد لواء بقوات الشرطة، قام بالاعتداء على احد قيادات الحزب امس الأربعاء.

وتعود مجريات الأحداث بحسب الحزب، الى أن أمين الطلاب بالحزب سليم الفاضل، حاول الدخول للمحكمة لحضور جلسة محاكمة قتلة الاستاذ احمد الخير، غير أن لواء بالشرطة، منعه وقام بالاعتداء عليه بالضرب المبرح ما تسبب له بكسر في الساق وبعض الكدمات.
