Police forces drove into the electricity company, were workers were holding a protest and have been striking off work. Just as the workers were about to break their fast, the police launched tear gas at them forcing them to disperse. The workers have condemned this act which took place in the month of holy Ramadan and they stated it is within their right to strike and protest. Note that the workers were demanding that the CEO of the electricity company should hold a press conference and clarify to the public the real reasons behind the electricity cut outs in the country.
