Sudan’s Human rights 2018 record witnesses no significant progress
The Human Rights Watch said in its annual report that Sudan’s human rights record witnessed no major progress in 2018.
The report focused on the annual review of human rights across the globe over the past year in which it mentioned that conflicts in Darfur, South Kordofan and the Blue Nile are still running. It also highlighted the use of excessive force by the security apparatus to disperse protesters where tens of activists and opposition party members were arbitrarily detained, pre-publication censorship imposed on the media and newspapers confiscated.
