Two martyrs were killed and 28 others were injured after the security authorities fired live bullets and tear gas at participants in the celebration of the anniversary of the sit-in dispersal. The armed forces chased the gathering of the celebrants near the General Command with sticks and batons.

It is noteworthy that the Organization of the Families of the Martyrs of the December Revolution was the one who called for a rally in front of the headquarters of the General Command on Ramadan 29 to commemorate the massacre
