A monitoring organization in the Blue Nile and South Kordofan regions revealed that the authorities continued to arrest and hide more than 25 citizens in South Kordofan, who had been in prison for years, despite orders to release them.

The Human Rights and Development Organization (HUDO) said, in what it calls an urgent matter, that the detainees were arrested since June 2011, and disclosed the names of some of them. Noting that the majority of them were government employees who have been isolated from the outside world in military intelligence detention camps.

كشفت منظمة معنية بمراقبة الاوضاع في منطقتي النيل الازرق وجنوب كردفان عن استمرار السلطات في اعتقال واخفاء ما يزيد عن الـ(25) مواطناً بجنوب كرفان، ظلوا قابعين في السجون لسنوات، برغم صدور اوامر بالافراج عنهم.

وقالت منظمة حقوق الانسان والتنمية (هودو)، بما اسمته (مسألة مستعجلة) أن المعتقلين تم اعتقالهم منذ يونيو 2011، وافصحت عن اسماء بعضهم، مشيرة الى أن غالبيتهم موظفين حكوميين تم عزلهم عن العالم الخارجي داخل معتقلات خاصة بالاستخبارات العسكرية.
