Ministerial Sectors Approve The Draft Law On Combating Cybercrime Cases
The joint meeting of the ministerial sectors today, headed by Othman Hussein Othman, The Acting Minister of Cabinet Affairs, approved the Anti-Cybercrime Law (Amendment) of the year 2022, which was presented by Muhammad Saeed Al-Hilu, the Acting Minister of Justice.
The amendment of the law comes in view of the development of cybercrimes and the concealment of the perpetrators through the use of modern applications.
The amendment also stipulated that it is not permissible to waive if the victim is any of the state agencies or public figures who occupy positions in it.
