One citizen was killed and others were injured, after police fired live bullets and tear gas in the City of Dongola, North Sudan, in an effort to disperse the demonstrations.

A statement was released by the Sudanese Professionals Association in the area, stating that the citizens went out in the demonstrations to protest the consistent electricity cuts.

قُتل مواطن وأصيب اخرين، بعد أن أطلقت الشرطة الرصاص الحي والغاز المسيل للدموع، لتفريق مظاهرات في مدينة دنقلا شمال السودان.

وقال بيان لتجمع المهنيين بالمنطقة، أن المواطنين خروجوا في المظاهرة احتجاجاً على قطوعات الكهرباء المتواصلة.
