Two journalists arrested and injured while covering demonstrations in Khartoum
The security authorities arrested journalist Amira Saleh, while covering demonstrations in Khartoum yesterday. Journalist Omar Ibrahim was wounded in his jaw with a tear gas canister during the demonstrations. The Sudanese Journalists Syndicate said, in a statement, that the journalist Amira Saleh was detained in one of the police units before being transferred to the police stations and held there until the early hours of the next morning.
