First ever football match to be refereed by a team of women referees
Progress and gains for women's rights and non-discrimination with the first ever football matched to be refereed fully by women
On Saturday 30 January, Khartoum National Football Club stadium was witness to a friendly football match between the Sudan nation team and the Sudan Olympic team that was refereed by three female referees - Arafa Al-Shayb senior referee, along with Hanadi Mohammed Ali and Rimaz Osman Hekmattin as assistant referees.
