Rapid Support Forces Arrest Two Resistance Committee Members
A member of the Rapid Support Forces arrested two of the Umbada Resistance Committee members, west of capital Khartoum, after they chanted slogans against the Vice-President of the Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of Rapid Support Forces, Muhammad Hamdan Dagali (aka Hemetti), during a visit to the area.
The Resistance Committees said in a statement that the RSF member seized Mosab Zakaria and Suleiman Jamal, handed them over to the police station and filed a criminal case against them under articles 69 and 77: disturbing public safety and disturbance. The complainant was a policeman.
Another statement of the Resistance Committees revealed that they were released after the authorities' intransigence in the bail procedures, about two days after their arrest.
