The committee is tasked with (i) developing proposed revisions to the statutes of SCOVA to make them more inclusive, (ii) developing and implementing a training plan for the rehabilitation of voluntary organizations in accordance with the guidelines of the sustainable development goals, (iii) developing and adopting policies, (iv) preparing for convening state level conferences to form branches in the states and nominate elected representatives to the center, (v) setting financial plans and policies for the union, and obtaining funding to support the council’s strategic projects, and (vi) developing plans towards mobilizing organizations and supervising their registration and good standing ahead of the formation of a National Federation of Organizations.
