Two daily newspapers published an advertisement calling for the closure of national roads, which was paid for by a tribal council in the east of the country. The ad resulted in the suspension of the papers' issuance for three days by the National Council for Press and Publications.

The Darfur Women Civil and Political Bloc Initiative decried the weakness of their participation in sovereign positions and decision-making across the country which they indicated did not exceed 10%. The constitutional decree had stated that the representation of women in government should not be less than 40%.

The Free Federation of Bahrain Labors Unions condemned the dismissal of the union leader in the General Federation of Sudanese Labor Unions, Omar Al-Basha, from his job at the Sudanese News Agency (SUNA).

A member of the Rapid Support Forces arrested two of the Umbada Resistance Committee members, west of capital Khartoum, after they chanted slogans against the Vice-President of the Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of Rapid Support Forces, Muhammad Hamdan Dagali (aka Hemetti), during a visit to the area.

Head of the Federal Umma Party in North Darfur state, Anwar Ishak Suleiman, called on the government to enact laws and regulations that would deter the spread of hate speech and tribal/regional extremism among society.
