The General Intelligence Service prevented the Sudan Social Development Organization (SUDO) from holding a civic education workshop that was to be held in Nyala, the capital of South Darfur State, and summoned the organization and project managers.
Armed men stormed the MSF office in El Daein, Eastern Darfur, and threatened the office's guards before stealing a car belonging to the organization.
The number of detainees in South Darfur since the military coup has reached (36), most of whom are from the alliance of The Forces of Freedom and Change (FFC).
The Darfur Women Civil and Political Bloc Initiative decried the weakness of their participation in sovereign positions and decision-making across the country which they indicated did not exceed 10%. The constitutional decree had stated that the representation of women in government should not be less than 40%.
